Hey mate,

Komunitta is at it again: you need to ask him for a key after installing his cracks. He's an admin over at wos. I would advise against asking him for a key. This material is supposedly only for wos vips. If you are not a vip at wos, don't even bother.

If there are wos vips out there willing to give a hand, it would be highly appreciated!

This package is a rework of Daisuke Yamamoto's wonderful model of the Fairchild C-119 "Flying Boxcar." Included is his original paint scheme and I have included two more, one for "Bush Flying Unlimited" and the other for my friend Bob Arthur, "Reddog's Air Service;" both sets rendered in 32-bit hi-res format with no mip-maps. The configuration files have been reworked by the talented Mr. Herb Morse and Brian Gladden to provide flight characteristics as close as possible to the real thing. Thank you Mr. Yamamoto for providing the flight community with such a wonderful model of a classic workhorse.

Alaska Adventures is a set of 12 missions for FS X set in the rugged wilderness of Alaska and the Yukon. You will fly the DC-3 and the DHC-2 Beaver. In bonus missions, you will fly the Grumman Goose.

Two of the missions require the DC-3 on skis built by Jon Murchison and James Eden. This file may be obtained from AVSIM or from our website. Flight conditions vary widely as do levels of challenge. You will fly in daylight and darkness and a variety of weather conditions in both winter and summer.

These adventures are built primarily around the DC-3, but you will also fly the DHC-2 and in bonus missions, the Grumman Goose in northern Canada and Alaska. The DC-3, Beaver and the Goose have long been mainstays of exploration, hunting and fishing lodges, and service industries that supply remote and rugged locations in the wilderness.

This package adds some additional liveries for the DC-3 and Goose, and reduces the total power output for the DHC-2 Beaver. It adds new scenery to many locations in Canada and Alaska, including Skagway, Yakutat, McGrath, Nome and other settings.

There are two missions at a basic level. There is one mission set designed to be flown in sequence that will take you from Anchorage in the south to Tin City in the North. Start with Alaska I and finish with Alaska V. In order to fly Alaska V you must download the AWESUM 4SOME DC-3 set built by James Eden and Jon Murchison. Go to AVSIM, enter the FILE LIBRARY and search
for DC-3 in the FSX - Aircraft Repaints section. You may also be able to download the individual all metal DC-3 on skis from Combat.
